good role in protecting the leather. A good oil edge will bring a smooth feel
and have a relatively environmental protection effect. The oil edge process is
a very technical work. For the leather edge and leather protection, the number

oily substance with the same color as the above parts painted on the hand-held
(shoulder strap) or leather edge of the bag. It is used to cover the incision

The effect of good edge oil
is smooth to the touch, with a “softer” color, which is coordinated
with the fabric. Poor edge oil feels rougher and darker in color. Many big-name
bags use imported glue, which has a low odor and is more environmentally
friendly. In addition, it seems to be painted evenly. The quality of the oil
edge directly reflects the quality of the bag. Because hand-painting is a very
technical process, a bag of good quality needs to be hand-painted at least 3

smooth, elastic, not “on top”

The edge oil is applied to
the surface of the leather and is called “upper”. A slight and
well-proportioned “upper” is normal, but it cannot be uneven.
Adsorption of edge oil, gloss, anti-cracking, anti-moth-eaten, and
environmental protection are all important. Poor edge oil is not shiny, easy to
fall off, and moth-eaten.

2. The quality of handwork

The side oil of the bag is
not as thick as possible. The thickness of the side oil is determined by the
characteristics of the leather. Some thick leather materials need to be coated
with oil many times to cover the edges, and the oil edges are naturally thick.
Applying the edge oil thinly and well is one of the criteria to test the
quality of the edge oil. If the bag is damaged in terms of edge oil, the main
reason is that it has a certain relationship with the materials and processes
it uses, and in the production of edge oil, fillers are generally used in the
primer, and it will be carried out on the top. The ointment, the effect
produced in this way will be relatively smoother, but there is another way to
directly apply the ointment on the top, and then continue to polish it. This
method is actually a good way to make it. But compared with the former, it will
be slightly worse, and in terms of materials, the effects of different
materials will be different.

corresponding edge oil according to the quality required by customers.

Type: In terms of types of
edge oil, it is mainly divided into two types: water-based edge oil and oily
edge oil. Under normal circumstances, the oily edge oil attribute mainly has
the attribute of high gloss, and it should not be burnt. The water-based edge
oil means that the edge oil properties are matte and can be ironed.
